ACTIONS
Methionine is an essential amino acid used as a liver-supporting supplement. It has liver-protective properties and helps prevent fatty liver. Methionine contains a sulfur atom that supports liver cell health and reduces the risk of necrosis.
It is commonly used in cases of liver disease to improve liver function. Methionine is also a precursor of cysteine, contributes to energy metabolism, and helps acidify urine.

INDICATIONS
Supports the treatment of liver diseases (hepatitis, fatty liver, metabolic disorders, acetonemia, hypocalcemia, tetany) and helps acidify urine.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Methionine is used by intramuscular injection, intravenous injection, subcutaneous injection or syrup in small animals.

Dosages:
Cows: 50-100 ml.
Horses: 50 ml.
Small rumiants: 20 ml.

Sheep: 20 ml.
Dogs: may reach 10 ml.
